This year, because of Covid, Adonai school administrators and teachers are preparing to teach online ONLY this Fall. Covid is rampant in the DR and the health care system has collapsed. A man we know died while sitting in a chair in a hospital waiting for treatment. So, for them, not having teachers in school, but rather at home with laptops and a wonderful computer platform that puts them in touch with their students, is far better! And, many students will not be able to buy their own tablets for connection with their teachers. We want to help them make these purchases so they can start school in late August or early September. Your help would be deeply appreciated!
